Hey Diddle Diddle....Artists interpretation of nursery rhymes and fairy tales.
Niza Knoll Gallery in Denver, Colorado, is pleased to invite artists who interpret nursery rhymes or fairy tales in their art making, to submit their work to this juried exhibit. This is the second exhibition of of Hey Diddle Diddle... We loved the fascinating stories and marvelous art we got in the first regional exhibit in 2015. This year we are also including fairy tales. We were encouraged, by many of you, to do it again. We found that artists loved the nursery rhymes and fairy tales as children and had fun interpreting them as adults. This exhibit is for adults not children, so your interpretation is wide open. I am encouraging you to submit your best pieces and tell us your rhymes and tales.
The exhibition opens June 15, 2018 and run through July 28th. It is a great time to get your art shown in Denver’s fabulous Art District on Santa Fe. Submissions will be juried by a blind-juried method.
Please note that the entry fee is $40.00 for 1 to 3 entries.
2D work must be no smaller than 10 x 10 inches and no larger than 14 x 14 inches.
Artwork can be on canvas or board with finished edges and ready to hang in gallery. No frames please.
Dimensional pedestal art must not exceed 12”w x 12”d x 24”h, and must weigh less than 25 pounds. Sizes must be included with submittal. All art work must be the same as submittal. All work must have been completed in the past three years. All art must arrive exhibition ready with wire for hanging. This includes all hanging hardware and assembly instructions. No saw tooth or triangular hangers.
Artists are responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping with pre-paid labels to be enclosed in shipping containers. All shipped work must be sent in appropriate and re-usable packaging. All work must remain for the duration of the exhibit. For work that is accepted, the artists must provide a one paragraph statement about the work entered which will be used for marketing.
Art previously shown in gallery will not be accepted.

Artists are responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping with pre-paid labels to be enclosed in shipping containers. Packaging must be strong enough for return shipping.
• Niza Knoll Gallery is not responsible for damage or loss during transport. Artists should insure work while in transport.
• Niza Knoll Gallery provides liability insurance for artworks while on premises. It is recommended that artists carry their own insurance.
Prices and sizes may not be changed after submission. Payment for sold artwork will be issued within 45 days after the close of the exhibition
Artists are solely responsible for delivery and pick up of all artwork.
