Artspace111 is pleased to announce an open call for submissions for the 5th Annual Artspace111 Regional Juried Exhibition, juried by Christina Rees, the Editor-in-Chief of Glasstire. The competition includes eligibility for 2D and 3D artwork. The exhibition will be open June 22nd through July 28th with an opening reception on the evening of June 22nd. Due date for entries is May 18th. Contemporary 2D and 3D works that follow the requirements detailed in the prospectus are accepted. Over $2000 will be awarded to the best works in show, and the first prize will include the opportunity to exhibit at Artspace111 in a separate solo or group exhibition in 2017 - 2018.

Juror Christina Rees Editor-in-Chief of Glasstire

Christina Rees is the Editor-in-Chief of Glasstire. Prior to joining Glasstire full-time in 2014, Rees served as an editor at both The Met and D Magazine, as a full-time art and music critic at the Dallas Observer, and has also covered art and music for the Village Voice and other publications. Rees lives in Dallas, where she was previously the owner and director of Road Agent gallery and the curator of Fort Worth Contemporary Arts.

2D Eligibility & Medium
- Open to artists 18 years and older residing in the state of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
- Contemporary original 2D work in any media including painting, prints, drawings, photography and digital images. 
- 2D work should not exceed a framed size of 48” in the longest dimension.
- All work must be original (no reproductions), produced within the last two years and not previously shown at Artspace111.
- The digital image of the piece submitted must be the piece delivered to Artspace111 if selected by the jury. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3D Eligibility & Medium
- Open to artists 18 years and older residing in the state of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
- Contemporary original 3D work in any media. Please indicate Indoor or Outdoor. 
- 3D work intended to hang on a wall cannot exceed 48 x 48". Free standing indoor work cannot exceed 6 feet in any dimension. Free standing outdoor work must come with proper base for installation. 
- All work must be original (no reproductions), produced within the last two years and not previously shown at Artspace111.
- The digital image of the piece submitted must be the piece delivered to Artspace111 if selected by the jury. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Entry Fee
$35 for one image, additional entries $5.00 each, limit 5.

Awards
Selected artists invited to exhibit at Artspace111 in June 2018.
Cash prizes for special jury awards.
Best In Show - $1,000 prize, and an opportunity to participate in a solo or group exhibition in 2018 - 2019. 

Sales 
- All pieces will be for sale at Artspace111.  The gallery will retain 50% commission on any work sold. 
- Price of work should include commission to gallery.

Insurance & Liability
- Work will be insured at Artspace111 but not in transit.
- The gallery will not assume responsibility for work improperly framed or poorly packaged for shipping.
- Images of accepted work may be used for promotional purposes and featured in an exhibition catalogue. 

Shipping/ Installation Requirements
- 2D and 3D Artists are responsible for shipping work to and from gallery. 
- Shipping instructions will be emailed following the jury process.  
- Your work of art should be ready to install, and should have hardware installed that will allow for immediate installation by the gallery with no adjustments to the pieces necessary.  NO EXCEPTIONS — ARTWORK MUST HAVE HARDWARE INSTALLED FOR IMMEDIATE INSTALLATION.
