“Gone To The Dogs 7” August 4 ~ September 16, 2017 7th Juried show of artworks depicting the dog. (Each artwork must have at least one image of a dog)

All media accepted, oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, ink, assemblage, collage, prints, photography and sculpture (stone, clay, wood, paper, paper mache, bronze).

Art must be original and created by the artist. All work must be ready to hang with a secure wire on the back. 

No plastic frames, no white frames, no saw tooth or triangle hangers. 

Please do not use fancy, colorful or elaborate frames!

A simple mat and simple black frame is the best choice to display your image.

Paintings can have at least a 1 ½ inch wrap around canvas without a frame finished cleanly for gallery hanging or a simple black frame.

Art previously shown in gallery will not be accepted.

All art must be marked clearly on the back of work with artists name, title of art, medium, size and price.

Gallery only has liability insurance. It is recommended that artists carry their own insurance.

Work being brought into the gallery can be no larger than 48 wide x 60 inches in height.

Shipped artwork must  be smaller and fit into package no larger than approximately 36 x 36 inches 

Gallery has the right to use images of artwork entered for publicity.

Gallery is not responsible for any damage caused during the shipping of the artwork.

All 3D work must not exceed 30 pounds. Sculpture must be sturdy and stand-alone. If the 3D work is to be hung on the wall it cannot exceed 25 pounds.

All artwork must arrive exhibition ready. This includes all hanging hardware and assembly instruction.

 Artists are responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping with pre-paid labels to be enclosed in shipping containers. All shipped work must be sent in appropriate and re-usable packaging. All work must remain for the duration of the exhibit. For work that is accepted, the artists must provide a one-paragraph statement.

 • Niza Knoll Gallery is not responsible for damage or loss during transport. Artists should insure work while in transport.

• Sales: All work must be available for sale during the exhibition. Please note that Niza Knoll retains a 40% commission on all art sales. Prices or sizes may not be changed after submission. Payment for sold artwork will be issued within 30 days after the close of the exhibition

If you are bringing the artwork in person it can be as large as 48 wide by 60 inches high. It must be brought to the gallery on Saturday, July the 29th between 4 and 6 pm. Artists are solely responsible for delivery and pick up of all artwork.

Shipped artwork must  be smaller and fit into package no larger than approximately 36 x 36 inches. Shipped artwork must arrive no later than Saturday, July 29th 


• Submission to this juried exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to the conditions set forth in this prospectus. Niza Knoll Gallery reserves the right to final curatorial, educational, installation and marketing decisions, including the use of art images for publicity.

~Art delivered by shipper to arrive no later than July 29th

~Art being delivered to gallery must be delivered

   Saturday, July 29th between 4 and 6 pm

~More specific instructions will be sent to accepted artists.

~Exhibit Opens: August 4,2017

~Artists Reception: Friday, August 18th between 5 and 8 pm

~Exhibit closes: September 16, 2017

Niza Knoll Gallery, celebrating its 8th year, specializes in intriguing conceptual exhibits. The gallery is located in the historic Arts District on Santa Fe, hosts First and Third Friday events, monthly salons, private concerts and guest speakers. Past exhibits have included unusual artist pairings, outsider art, collaborative work, thought provoking thematic exhibits, artists using non- traditional media. It is truly a gem.                                                                                                      
Accepted work must be for sale at the exhibit.

40% commission will be taken off the sale price. 


Awards of recognition will be given. Specific categories are to be determined.
