Exhibit Summary
From MFA candidate Blake Dodgen: “Irony is a literary device often associated with sarcasm or satire. It can be a successful design element when properly utilized that adds dimension and longevity to what could otherwise be a simple or boring design. While commonly used, its use does not appear often in design literature. I want to explore and expand upon the conversation of ironic design in part through the curation of this exhibit to further develop the lacking literature ironic design.”
