Birds, Bees, Flowers, Trees, Adams, Eves (and just a little bit of Woodstock) … our famous Spring show returns! Artists are free to interpret the theme as desired for a rockin’ exhibition of fun, fantasy, and the joys of the natural world. We invite your participation in any medium; both 2-D and 3-D are welcome. There are no size restrictions; however, space will be a consideration. All US artists are welcome to apply.
Prize: Best of Show $500; Honorable Mentions
NEW: All exhibited work must be for sale. A commission of 40% will be taken on all works sold during the exhibition, or within 30 days as a direct result of the exhibition. Payment will be mailed to the artist within 30 days of the exhibition closing. All artists should supply their own insurance for the run of the show, if desired. Unsold works will be returned in the original packaging via artist-supplied pre-paid label two to four weeks after the exhibition closes unless other arrangements have been made. Accepted artists are required to sign a Record of Loan. Ciel Gallery reserves the right to reproduce the supplied images for all media and publicity purposes with credit to the artist.
All entries must be of original design and created by the artist submitting the work. Artists submitting non-original work will not be accepted in future exhibitions. No prints (except photography), giclées or prints on aluminum accepted. All work must be clean, securely wired (no sawtooth hangers, hooks, french cleats, or unwired pieces), and ready to hang for exhibition. Ciel reserves the right to decline gallery space for pieces that arrive without adequate wiring, or in a condition other than as shown in submission materials. Any special requirements or equipment to install pieces must be provided by the artist and noted in the submission. Submitted images must reflect the actual work as closely as possible. The gallery reserves the right to reject work that differs from submitted images.

Image entry will be by JPEG digital files; review will be by digital image only. Images of 2 works may be submitted for the entry fee of $35.00; up to 3 additional works may be submitted for $10 Media Fee for each additional JPEG image from 3 - 5, with a maximum of 5 images total.
All digital files must be in JPEG format. JPEGs must be sized to no less than 1920 pixels on the longest side, no greater than 5MB. Information on supported upload options is available at https://www.callforentry.org/image_prep.phtml.
A non-refundable fee of $35.00 must accompany each entry, allowing submission of 2 pieces. Add $10 for each additional piece submitted up to 5 pieces total.
The system requires at least two images. If submitting only one piece, please enter a detail for the second image.
The online entry form must be complete and include dimensions (H x W x D format) in inches, materials, price, artist’s statement for each piece, contact information, signature and date. Artist statements for submissions may be combined and listed together.
We cannot use watermarked images, and please crop out signatures for the jurying process.
Submitted photos may be used on the website, Ciel Gallery Facebook page, and print media with artist credit.
Delivery and Pick-Up:
Artists are responsible for shipping or delivering accepted artwork by pre-arranged time with a deadline noted below. Delivery address will be provided with acceptance. After the exhibit closes, work MUST be picked up by appointment on Saturday, April 29, or return-shipped with supplied pre-paid label. If you cannot meet the delivery or pickup dates, please do not enter the exhibition.
Application materials must be received by 11:59 PM MST on Sunday, March 12, 2016 through www.callforentry.org.

• Artist’s Statement for each piece; general Artist Statement is not required
