In collaboration with the Bedford Cultural Commission, the City of Bedford presents ArtsFest, an event to promote and celebrate the arts in Bedford. This family friendly festival will feature artists, musicians and performers who contribute to the vibrant heritage of the North Texas region. Enjoy an assortment of food vendors, musical entertainers and art of all shapes and sizes at the historic Boys Ranch Park. In years past, the city has seen a tremendous outpouring of residents and guests supporting this endeavor and we hope to continue with the tradition. In the heart of the city’s cultural district, the fourth annual Bedford ArtsFest will take place April 8, 2017 at the Bedford Boys Ranch Park. The Bedford ArtsFest is a single-day event that adds vibrancy to mid-cities by creating opportunities for people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to celebrate the arts of North Texas.
How to Apply: ONLY through www.callforentry.org. Submit the following images as part of your online application: four (4) color, high resolution digital images (JPG) of your current work and one (1) image of booth with NO visible name or logo. If you do not have an image of your booth, please submit an additional piece of work. Artists approved by the jury will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell art indoors in the designated Juried area.
- Collaborative artwork by artists is permitted, but each individual artist must be identified on the application.
- Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.
- The City of Bedford reserves the right to refuse any application.
Application Fee: $10, non-refundable, due at time of application.

April 8, 2017, 6:00am: CHECK-IN/SET-UP BY 9:00am
April 8, 2017, 6:00pm: STRIKE/CLEAN-UP BY 10:00pm
Jury: Jury by professional artists. Jury panel will select artists from the applications submitted and then choose the award winners on the day of the festival. Award winners are chosen based on principles and elements of design, quality of technique, execution, and materials, originality of work, and booth appearance.
Prizes: The jury will award a Best of Show: $300; Runner Up: $200; and Second Runner Up: $100;
The jury will also award Three (3) Best of Shows for K-12 Student: $50 each.

- Double Booth Space, 10’x20’: $100
Public Admission: FREE, no gate.
